I miss sushi places so much. They're so expensive now I only feel like doing them for special occasions and ordering big, but then feel disappointed if everything isn't perfect. I could go for some generic mixed tempura with half a calfornia roll, side of rice, shitty little side salad, orange wedge, and a miso soup to start with a Kirin draft.

I was going to say that's awesome, but then I realized just 10 years ago those would have been normal prices without any kind of discount. I remember going to a generic bar and getting wings for 25 cents each, and on Wednesdays they were 10 or 15 cents each. Now it's literally impossible to find wings under a dollar a piece. Maybe I'm just getting old and don't realize how long a decade is, but I can close my eyes and still picture exactly what my girlfriend at the time tasted like. Shit. I hooked up with my first girlfriend from 20 years ago just recently and like a blind dog being reunited with its master I immediately recognized her scent and got a rush of endorphins as though I'd come home.

I hate coming into these threads and finding out it's 90% jack
