Once again you have no idea whats going on. If i want to eat awesome bleu cheese i get a block, if i plan on melting it (destroying the flavor btw, it mixes with the fat of the meat and becomes something else entirely) i use crumbles because it wont make that much of a difference and saves time. Here in the US we work more than you do in Europe, and take less vacations, we are just in general busier. We don't like to waste time that could otherwise be spent relaxing. I am not disrespecting cheese, I am disrespecting you for being arrogant and making asinine assumptions about another nation using your limited world view and mental capacity.
