they're what alcoholics order to get drunk most efficiently. kinda depends on the bar, but because you're adding so many different hard liquors it's harder to fuck you on the pour. some places will charge more or up the ice (even more than they already do) to kind of mitigate this, but more often than not it's the best choice for getting your fix extremely quickly. I used to order two at a time and just burn through them for a nice base buzz. they will definitely keep an eye on you if you do this, though.

cubed beets with carrots cut to about the same size and if you wanna be extra cool cube some turnips, too. throw everything in a big bowl, mix with olive oil, balsamic, and lemon juice. add some salt and pepper. spread on a baking sheet and let em roast at like 400 or so for awhile. i don't remember how long I just kinda check on em every 10 or 15 minutes til they look nice and roasted up. scrape everything off into a dish and wala. very easy, you're not likely to fuck it up. also do borscht if that hasn't been mentioned already.
