I normally lurk but to keep this thread moving

two things that never go together, the general public, and a chocolate fountain.
>kids dipping hands into the fountain, double dipping food into it
>choco covered meatballs?
>Supervisor notices this and shuts the fountain area down.
>food quality was just plain aweful

It seems like many i have been to (Golden Corral, Old County Buffet, Ponderosa) were all good years ago but standards just went out the window entirely. Not clean and gross food.

The Old Country Buffet by me did improve slightly (rumors) but i will have to see myself.
And the only Buffet i trust is the nearest Chinese place to me.

one of the few buffets, let alone a chinese place, that was actually really clean and changed the serving utensils often.

Side question, is it a buffet pet peeve of anyone when someone piles a plate excessively? Its like... you can go back more than once, you know that right?
