The problem is a lot of people put human emotions, thoughts and dreams into animals.

I blame cartoons, documentaries, and shit like homeward bound.

A lot of people see animal's as 'friends'.
I think with a lot of live stock and especially fish, it's on par with making friends with roomba.

Pets are fine, but jesus, cows and chickens are fucking dumb as bricks. Pigs are too delicious, some people will keep one as a pet and not eat it, it's whatever.

wtf did they do with it? when I worked there in highschool (2008) it was just pushing a button for 1/4th pound patties that cooked them to a good internal temp every single time. They just slapping them on the grill? Because that's really bad for people who are used to just pushing and button.
