This. Vegetarian thought and practice doesn't save the world anymore than buying a prius. Doesn't help that vegetarians and prius drivers think it does. As a chef all I think about how impeded I am as a producer of good food.
Thanksgiving is hell because everyone wants to visit the chef in the family but none of them think for a moment about the work involved. "Oh I can demand turkey flavored satay vegan avocado toast, he loves cooking. I'm basically doing him a favor."

Tried making it, tastes rather mediocre. Any tips to improve?
