>found "smart buy" canned pink salmon at the supermarket for $6.24 /kg
>packaged salmon is in the range of $25-30 or even more

Hmm, why is it so cheap? I get that its canned and not fresh, but is it a big difference?

Why not just cook the dry noodles in the sauce for seven minutes?

Can someone tell me the difference between the types of ham sold in a typical supermarket?

I tried googling but all i got was sites talking about fancy, whole ham, and not the sliced type in supermarkets.

Like what is the difference between double smoked ham, "premium leg ham", champagne ham, etc?

What is the difference between the ham that comes in small boxes and the ham at the deli? I noticed boxed ham is much more expensive than deli ham for some reason.

How do i keep bread fresh? I put them in the cupboard (in the plastic bag they came in) and it gets mouldy quickly. I put them in the fridge, it gets moist.

Ideally i want the bread i buy to last a week or more.

Does cooking oil matter?

I see all these different oils at the supermarket, sunflower, canola, vegetable, peanut, olive oil, etc....

And i have no idea which im supposed to use?

For example, would canola oil be a good all purpose oil? That's what i'm using now.

Does brand matter?
