Yeah, while I was in Germany I ordered fries for the first time from some Turkish dude and got hot, crispy fries completely fucking doused in mayo... just so they can become cold and soggy. I found out soon after that that was apparently "normal," and everyone there eats fries in this manner. It was extremely disgusting. Why do they cover it in mayo? I mean this shit was COATED, like when a fat fuck in line at Subway asks for triple mayo on their sandwich and the employee has to coat both the top and bottom of the sub in mayo, and when they fold the sandwich it all splooges out the sides. Why not just add a dipping cup on the side with the fries? It's not necessarily the mayo vs ketchup argument here, it's the fact that pouring gobs of sauce on fries makes them fucking soggy and cold, and makes some fries have a disproportionate amount of mayo on them while others have none. It's abhorrent and anyone who likes it is probably mentally ill.

About 5 years ago I was down at a shore house with a freind of a friend (yes we were having gay sex and it wasn't just an excuse to go vacation down the shore) and he cooked breakfast one morning. He cooked his "famous peppers and eggs". Oh, they were famous, alright. Famously bad. He roughly cut up about 2 bell peppers and threw then in a cold pan with a chunk of butter. He cooked then for about 60 seconds and then dumped in about 4 beaten eggs and half a chopped onion. He cooked the eggs in a cold pan for about 30 seconds until they were about the consistency of snot and then he DRENCHED the entire mixture with Worcestershire and Tabasco. Like at least an entire cup of each. He then slapped them on a plate with underdone toast. So what I had was basically a plate of undercooked eggs with raw pepers and onions that taste like hot fish on warm bread. I got through about 2 bites before I covered the mess with the bread and sneakily dumped it into the trash.

The lines are always insane, the food isn't even that great. The burgers are way too greasy and even people that like In-n-Out agree that the fries are shit. You can get better shakes at fucking McDonalds.

The only reason it's liked is because "muh fresh ingredients" yet there's a place literally a half mile away that has fresh ingredients, makes better food and even sell alligator burgers. It just doesn't see as many customers because everything is a dollar more expensive.
