I think some nights she does take it for granted, just like everybody. But she does appreciate it, and she does the dishes (except the cast iron because I don't want her to fuck it up) so it works out. Normally I'll make a big pot of something on Sunday night and we'll eat off it for most of the week. She was a VERY picky eater when we started dating, now she's just quite picky. I got her to admit I cook better chili than her mom, though, that was a solid victory.
