These remind me of a story my coworker told me about. He likes to go fishing in france and they have food made for the carps in advance which is a mix of a lot of things (I know there's corn and beans that goes into it) and they let it rot for about a week or longer so that it really reeks. Somehow the fish love this shit.

So they went fishing and met up with this African dude, who at some point had to pick up the barrels filled with this smelly shit and had to carry them over. Lo and behold he arrives while stuffing his face with the shit, he just can't stop eating it and says it is delicious even.

At the end of the trip they gave him the remaining barrels (they couldn't keep them anyway) and the guy just ate all of it. Carp bait, extremely smelly, round ball shaped carp bait.
