There is this place around here called Yard House that does a pretty tasty lamb burger. The description of the burger:
>feta cream cheese, arugula, caramelized jalapeño shallot relish

I tried replicating something similar.

I started off with the relish, sauteeing about one and a half red onions and a couple of jalapenos in some butter.

Once the onions were caramelized I added some red wine vinegar, balsamic vinegar, brown sugar, and salt/pepper.

The buns I got were on the larger size so I decided to just make two half-pound patties. I seasoned them with salt, pepper, and a bit of paprika, onion powder and garlic powder.

The formed patties seemed kind of huge, but they turned out to be the perfect size once cooked.

Other side. Topped with some feta and let it finish in the oven. Feta doesn't really melt but oh well.

Buttered the buns and put them under the broiler for a couple of minutes. Arugula and relish on the bottom.

Looks good. Arugula goes great with lamb imo.

I've done lamb burgers before with tapenade and tzatziki instead of a relish like that.

That's it. Really damned tasty and pretty close to the yard house one.
Next time I would probably add mayo and not finish the burger in the oven for as long (or at all?).
