Nigger what? Something my family had me do as a kid when I had a terrible infection swelling on my foot was to boil some water, let it sit for 15 seconds, and then put my foot in it.

It didn't sear my skin off, it just got super red and tingled a bit. Didn't even burn. It was like entering a super hot bath, but instead of waiting for it to cool down you just stubbornly sat in it anyways feeling kinda hurt but kinda "eh" at the same time.
