In my case it's beer and lack of exercise. I've always eaten healthy but I ballooned up when I moved out of walking distance of a gym. I've gone down 2 belt notches recently, still a fatass though. I've considered cutting meat entirely but considering that I stick to lean meat and don't eat that much I'm not sure that'd be all too helpful, I'll probably just have to drop the beer and maybe switch to fruit juice with vodka.

I had a diet I lost 40 pounds on in 2 months, I came up with it but it's inspired from a couple other diets.
You only eat every other day, so on odd weeks you eat mon, wed, fri, sun. Even weeks you eat on tue, thu, sat.
On odd weeks every eating day should be 1000-1500 kcal, no drinks, chips, snacks, nothing unhealthy basically, go to a nutritional value info site and try to build up a meal that fills the rdi for vitamins in under 1500kcal. Even weeks you can have from 1500-2000 kcal per eating day (nothing unhealthy during the week, however on sat you can take up to 750kcal of the 2000kcal as snacks IF you have self control, if you don't then you can't take any snacks and will be doing the "no unhealthy things" as usual (so it's up to your own judgement, it feels really good not eating unhealthy things, I'm still skipping snacks etc even now when I'm not on a diet, and those times when you maybe eat cake at a birthday or wedding it'll taste a lot better than usual).
Anyways go out for a jog/walk/run depending on what you're capable of on the days you eat, 10km no matter if you run or walk, if you feel like you can run 10km easily then you can of course increase it.
You're allowed to drink water on the no eating days, you can't even eat icecubes.
Have fun, if you can't stand being without food for a while you'll love this. (You can spread out the meal however you want, be it 1 big meal or 10 small as long as you don't cheat and pass the kcal limit or eat on non eating days)

Most of the time I get Deep Eddy because they're local and I find that their product is similar in quality to Tito's (which is also local) but for $5 or $10 less depending on the bottle size. There's no diet that fits everyone, everyone have different circumstances, it's better to find a diet that suits your needs and fits your economy and availability of product, I made this diet because I can't follow others diets, probably a mental block that made me think "this won't work, you wont notice a difference and you'll just waste time and money doing this".
The most important thing in doing a diet is being strict, if you never think "once won't hurt" and never cheat or use loopholes, that's when the diet will work the best, most people who fail on diets probably fail because they're not strict enough with themselves.
It doesn't matter what diet one uses as long as the end results are good, however to get good results you need motivation, and the only real motivation you'll get when you diet is the weight loss showing, and the feeling of being able to handle more physically (unless you're someone who can work hard just from other people saying that you're doing well), which is what inspired my diet together with the 5-2 diet.
I hope you find a good way to get healthy and lose weight (if you need it that is).

I got fat in 2014-2015 when i started drinking beers almost everyday and then eating fast food while drunk probably consumed like 3000-4000 calories/day.

Everytime I tried to lose weight it just didn't work. Eat a lot of steak (consume protein), buttered potatoes/fried foods, and drink your calories, too. Have shakes, not drinks. The more muscle you can build, the better to drop your thin frame. Strength train while you add calories. Not using your calories to build muscle just means you'll skinnyfat-style that extra caloric intake and deposit that fat in places internally around your organs and inside arteries and unsafe things like that, to put it graphically. So strength train, and let your body use it for muscle repair.
