At some point you have to realize that One World Trade center, where they work, is highly inaccessible to be a workplace for poor kids, or the very young, but successful people who have made bank somehow or already lived there, ie with family or friends who make bank. Grades and GPAs are easily fudged. One example you often see with US universities is how top athletes are often given "fake" classes that are so incredibly easy that their sole purpose is to prop up GPAs in order to maintain academic eligibility to play sports. I'm not claiming that exact thing happens at Harvard, but there's no reason something similar couldn't.

Hell, I went to a top 10 engineering school and several of my classes were total gimmees. I did virtually zero work and got A credit. That happens often in "research" classes (code 489).

For some reason my gf and I were dumb enough to try a Tasty recipe on soup dumplings. While the filling worked out fine, the dough recipe was an absolute fucking disaster. We asked her parents later what to actually do (they're Sichuanese), don't know why we didn't in the first place.
