Wow nailed it! I live on the east coast and earn more than you ever will. God forbid you Google the subject matter at hand but you weren't here to do that... you were here for sympathy. I would say eat softer foods until you feel the wounds have healed completely. I got an infection on my left and right bottom gums a little more than a week after I had the surgery done. It was from eating toast I think. The dentist using a dental tool to put pressure on my infected gum and squeeze whatever was inside the gums out was the worst physical pain I have ever been in.

>> No.10920490

If you want to satisfy the feeling of chewing, scrambled eggs are good and substantial but still really soft. Just try not to overcook your eggs or it'll be annoying how tough they are.

I unironically ate ice cream and soggy cereal most of the time. Avoid anything you have to chew, and anything too acidic like tomatoes or coffee. I also would stay away from hot foods, unless you just serve them fairly warm.

You'll feel better after 3-4 days, at which point you should still avoid super crunchy things, but you can usually handle a more normal diet.

Drink shit. Seriously. Everyone everywhere is like "Don't drink your calories."

Fuck that. Teeth are fucked up, drink calories.

Had double wisdom teeth on my uppers, triples on the back right + 3 extra teeth that just fucking shot out the sides of my gum line. Spent like 2 years living on soft food off and on.

Americans are lonely. Our loneliness is killing us. It’s true. Loneliness is deadlier than obesity. Deadlier than smoking. And, yes, a great deal deadlier than the “assault weapons” some people are so obsessed with banning lately.

Get help.

I drove myself to the dentist, had all 4 wisdom teeth removed and then drove myself home.
I was a bit sore for about 2 days. I just ate mushy vegetables and soup.
A few things to avoid would be nuts, seeds, bread and grains. They go in the holes and can be difficult to get back out. Might be different if you got stitches but I dunno.
