Used to hate eggs growing up because mom would overcook them or use vegetable oil to fry them.

Made these this morning with chicken fat/butter combo. Amazing.

How do you guys take your eggs to the next level?

Sometimes I will add worcestershire sauce, but I find that it ruins the texture.

I had zucchini and yellow squash and to use up from the garden yesterday. Sauteed that stuff then added some beaten eggs in and scrambled them. Added some green onion at the end. Served over brown rice and a bit of soy sauce

And this
I’m glad some people on ck have some common sense about scrambled eggs. If you go heavy on the butter/ milk they can have the best texture ever while still being relatively dry/ and not slimey or rubbery.
I usually use some cheese and match one piece of dry (whole grain preferred) toast for every egg used. Salt/pepper obviously, too. Pepper on eggs is fire.

Polish sausage, cut it into slices, put into pan until they are browned. In the fat released from the sausage, scramble some eggs. When eggs done, sprinkle in some green onion.

Im guessing you tried to fuck these up just to troll /ck/.
No one can fail so hard at scrambling the eggs while both overcooking and undercooking them.
Im guessing you forgot to season them aswell.

Look, I get the not liking overcooked scrambles thing. I actually like overcooked scrambles because I grew up with them, but I get not liking them.
OP's scrambles are fucking undercooked. Even Gordon Ramsey style scrambles aren't fucking slimy and gooey. OP, your shit is undercooked. Deal with it.

I like to grind fresh black pepper into the eggs when I scramble them, for some reason the pepper inside the eggs tastes better than pepper on top of the eggs

I like to saute onions, carrots, and bell peppers with cayenne pepper + smoked paprika before I throw in the eggs. I beat the eggs in a bowl and add a little milk with salt and pepper. Makes some good ass eggs with a little heat and the veggies mix up the consistency so it's not just egg goop

Almost all eggs that can be bought at a supermarket come from chickens that eat shit gmo feed and live in a cage for the entirety of their lives. Even the ones branded as "cage free" are lies. Not really safe to eat their eggs raw. It is possible to just find a local farm depending on where you live, and buy eggs from their healthily raised chickens. You can eat those raw and be fine, as long as the chicken is free ranging and eating a natural diet.

Those look like some healthy chickens in a good environment! I bet their eggshells are a lot thicker compared to a store-bought egg, one sign of chickens eating right. Good on you for supporting your family and buying local.
