They used to feed us Papa John's back in high school, mostly during community service. It had the comfort of fresh chain pizza but it wasn't anything to scream about.
Last time I had any recently was to try anchovies for the first time ever and when they had that double pepperoni pizza (I ordered one, didn't have double pepperoni, made them send a second one, still no double pepperoni). It left no impression on me that would prompt me to order from them over Pizza Hut or Domino's, especially since I didn't care for how salty the anchovies were. Literally the only topping they have that the other chains don't.

I'm gonna take this as a prompt to gush about how fucking tasty Little Caesar's is.
No matter what crust you get, they're all crispy like Pizza Hut's deep dish. The cheese is pretty decent and my favorite is how uniform the crust is, especially the stuffed crust. Fucking Pizza Hut had a spell were half my fucking pizza was stuffed crust, like they hired a really pissy chef. I'm of the impression that Little Caesar's uses machine-formed crusts, I love it when machines are more involved in my food and uniformity insures customer satisfaction.

I heard the Hot-N-Ready was more like Extra Most Bestest when they first introduced it but I never had it around that time. So when I did have some of Hot-N-Ready (before Extra Most Bestest was released), it wasn't great. It was mostly bread but I accepted that for a five dollar pizza, you get what you pay for. Then EMB came out, but before I tried that, I found out they had stuffed crust and that's what won me over to Little Caesar's.
In addition to the most recent "new" pizza Pizza Hut came up with where the crust handle was a reservoir for more cheese. It was thirty bucks for the delivery of a single pizza and it was a bullshit design. Fuck Pizza Hut and their money-grubbing schemes (their new free pizza point system makes you pay for a fifteen dollar minimum order, so you never don't have points which would prompt some people to continue paying to earn more points. Domino's does it correct, but it's too late now that I know how good LC is).

Domino's has a ten dollar minimum. BUT, instead of the monetary point system of Pizza Hut, they just stamp your virtual card six times AND deliver it with no minimum. So you end up paying five bucks with delivery and tip.
But again, Little Caesar's has their shit together, and they just introduced EMB Supreme, I LOVE Supreme toppings. I just need to order it one of these days.

They're not too bad as long as you pay attention to what you're ordering. They always offer 2 for $12 medium 2 topping pizzas or $7 large 3 toppings carryout, but that's if you use the "coupons" which are pretty much always available. But, at Papa John's, I get light cheese and extra sauce, but I get barbecue sauce. Toppings are bacon and/or shredded chicken and banana peppers and/or jalapenos. This pizza is fucking tasty. It's the only chainshit I've ever happily ordered rather than lazily "fuck it guess it's pizza" ordered.
