Considering how that fat retard eats I'm guessing his was an infarction, i.e. a bloodclot rather than a burst vessel.
For that you'll take blood thinners to prevent further infarctions. I'm sure the common meds vary between countries. When I worked with stroke patients we'd use either clopidogrel or a combination of dipyridamole and acetylsalicylic acid depending on what caused fewer side effects in a given patient.
The real treatment is lifestyle change, though. I.e. not eating like a pig and training. Lots and lots of training of the affected side. For example; not letting the paralysed arm just hang like Jack is doing.
If he weren't such a laze retarded fuck he'd have a decent chance of regaining at least some use of that arm, and I have told him that a few times now, but he seems to have just written it off. Probably thinks it's God's plan or something.

I wouldn't even call it stupid at this point. This man needs help. That late in life it's hard to change lifestyles and obviously this guy doesn't get what he's supposed to do. This dude probably learned everything he knows about health from the internet and out of all the differing and conflicting information he just cherry picks which one he likes best. Fat people often see their fat as the cause of their problems so in his head the idea of keto sounds amazing. Eat the food you like but burn fat, completely ignoring the specifics of his health. Being the patriarch, his family probably thinks the same way too and are just pushing and enabling this. This guy needs serious outside help, from seeing a dietitian to taking actual fucking classes.
