I used to work for a company based in London. I spent 1/4th my time there for years. This and many other claims are just not true from my experience. The only true difference I observed (besides the difference in phrases) was that Brits drink a lot. Americas alcoholic is England's norm.

I prefer the continental. Like, actual continental. Not the Hampton Inn shitty coffee and cheap honey bun with a banana. A latte, buttered croissant, charcuterie, seasonal fruit, and a soft-boiled egg.

But, of course, I do sometimes want something big and hardy. Nothing fills that craving quite like the full english.

I usually go out for a big breakfast like this on the weekend. I wouldn't go through the trouble of making it at home.
