Use butter to lube the pan not oil. Lots of cheese around the edge. Seriously it helps keep the bread from sticking and tastes good when it burns. Cheese sauce cheese topping order.

its just pizza cooked in a cake pan. sure you can get "real detroit" pans but any decent rectangle/square metal cake pan will do. any flour/yeast/sugar dough will work. when the dough is ready you need olive oil and just grease the the fuck out of the pan, like really good, especially along the sides because that's where you want the cheese to sort of burn to the edges. just brush oil all the over place in the pan like your painting a house. throw the dough in and stretch the dough out to the edges and top with a good, thick, crushed tomato sauce then cheese and pepperoni. you want to bake in a hot as fuck oven, 500 degrees at the bottom rack, until done. takes about 20 minutes or so depending on the size of the pizza. make sure you really grease the pan because you want the cheese to stay intact when you go to get it out of the pan. loosen up the edges with thin metal spatula or run a knife around the edge can work too.

Hey Finn. I live in the US and just made pizza.

Steps are make your bread using a simple like see 70-75% hydration dough. When you're ready to cook everything get your skillet pan on medium high.
I recommend doing it in a skillet on a stove top unless you have an oven that can get hot enough, like 550 and a pizza stone.

Get your dough out of the fridge after it has had enough time to proof.
Punch your fist through the middle and start running your hand along the edge and let gravity pull it down. Try and get it into the shape of a circle.
Also, your pan diameter will determine how much dough you need. I had 250g for a 12 inch pan.

You want your dough, wants you've stretched it out to be a little smaller than your pan.

Oil the pan lightly. Cook one side for just a minute so it will brown ever slightly. Remove the dough. Sprinkle flour and something like cornmeal an do ground up flax or something in the pan. Return the dough to the uncooked side so the slightly browned side is up.
Add your topping which is a Marinara sauce or any kind of red sauce, mozz, and a protein.

Cover the pan and let that shill out at medium to medium high with a cover until the cheese has completely melted.
Then you can move to an oven that's preheated to like 450 for 10 mins.

To finish you can broil and add fresh basil.

you should already have the pan you need for this (metal cake pan), so look up a recipe, at least for the dough. For the sauce make or buy regular pasta sauce, add sugar and some extra oregano. I wouldn't buy only because I have no idea how Finnish red sauce compares to American

I think your problem is going to be finding pepperoni, especially the kind that cups like that. If you're not dead set on pepperoni you should be able to get pretty close

The key is the caramelized crust, which needs to be baked at a high temp in a well oiled pan

To achieve this, you do not leave a "crust" or "pizza bone" like most traditional styles of pizza have, you make the entire dough uniform and flat topped, and cheesed/topped ALL THE WAY to the edge, the edges need to crisp and caremalize in the burning oil (earl)
