Jersey Mike's Subs > Subway

No contest.

Jesey Mike's sucks, but Subway is absolute garbage and should have gone under a decade ago. What point are you even trying to make with this thread?

I went to Subway once, ordered a really big tuna extra toasted. My son told me I was retarded for buying a sub I could have made at home.

Obviously, yeah. Who would ever claim otherwise? That's like saying 2001: A Space Odyssey > Battlefield Earth, or Lamborghini 400 GT > Ford Pinto.

It's easily the best sub chain you tastelet.

Jersey Mike's is fucking banging but the way I order my sandwich, it comes to fucking $16 + tax. Shit is egregious.

>#9 - Club Supreme

It's honestly the best tasting thing you can eat that's cold. I will be getting one in a few days.

Oh yeah I forgot I get the Giant size roll. It's like $3 more than the half size one so fuck it. It lasts me two days.

>easily the best sub chain

That's not saying much, seeing as how there aren't any good sub chains and if you don't have a single Italian grocery place in town that makes subs you'd be better off just going to the grocery store. Still, Jimmy John's mayo slathered cardboard is easily superior to overpriced as fuck Jersey Mike's trash.

Which is why I don't really bother with fast food in general. I actually enjoy cooking my own meals.

>Italian grocery place in town that makes subs
I hate this "local mom and pops stores are inherently better than chains" bullshit. Better than the worst chains like Subway and McDonalds maybe.
>Jimmy John's mayo slathered cardboard is easily superior to overpriced as fuck Jersey Mike's trash.
Definitely not superior. Jimmy John's is a slight step up in quality from Subway. Based on your use of "overpriced" in your sentence there it sounds like you don't actually dislike Jersey Mike's so much as resent them for reminding you you're a poorfag who can't afford a decent sandwich.

>> No.11409113

>>11409018
Jersey Mike's is great for cold sandwiches, Firehouse is great for hot.

>> No.11409125

>>11409094
Nobody said mom and pop places are inherently better than all chain places; sometimes they're terrible. But with Italian grocery type places they're literally just selling good quality cold cuts and have typically have decent bread and offer the option of throwing a sandwich together for you, which will almost always be inherently better than a fast food chain simply based on the fact that they're in the business of selling decent quality meats and cheeses. JM's being overpriced has nothing to do with me being a poorfag; it's just an observation about how you have to be retarded to pay restaurant prices for a fast food meal. Even if they were the same price JJ's would be better, but I already said that JJ's is trash. I've tried both of them, don't plan on eating at either any time soon, but thought JJ's made a much better product - it being cheaper was just the nail in the coffin if you're going to compare it to JM's.

I worked there for four years and when I quit I never went back. The food sucks for the price. They consistently raised the prices every year until the best item (The Beef and Cheddar Brisket) was like $13 after tax for just the large sandwich and they stopped doing the seasonal pork and slaw sandwich, that pissed a lot of customers off. The people were ok, but everything else about that job sucked.

Their pulled pork sub isn't bad, but they're definitely not a good sub place overall.

I wish, nowadays you have to pay $8-9 for any sandwich that isn't shitty plain-ass ham. Why wouldn't anyone just pay a dollar or 2 more and go to a real deli

I prefer Panera bread. Only slightly more expensive than even subway these days, and actually good.
