Most of us in the USA, most and not all, have no attention span. They're the ADHD generation so anything without shaky cam and constant weird background noise and useless commercials every few minutes will loose them.
Personally I love EPL. 45 mins+ per half a short half time and on with it. It doesn't take 4 hours to get through a fucking one hour game time match as it does with NFL. Put an NFL match in front of me and I'm guaranteed to fall asleep out of boredom. It's the same for all American monetised sports.
Even our so called soccer matches suck, I really think they pump in noise from speakers to make it sound exciting also the lowliest 20th ranked EPL team would rip through our best.
