I use a hi-soft board I imported from Japan. It wasn't cheap, but it was worth it.

I was originally in the market for end grain, but unfortunately most of them seem to be manufactured by religious maniacs and right wing nutjobs. I looked for something made abroad but most of the foreign made stuff seems to be mineral-heavy woods. Teak and stuff like that.

Safest thing by far is to just go for Hi-Soft. There is a US competitor called Sani-Tuff but the quality, being American, is probably substandard, not to mention the fact that you are supporting people who probably want decent human beings to be rounded up and deported for not being named Smith, Davis, or Goebbels.

What is "the Jewish agenda"? The reason I ask is that I work for a privately held corporation that is in fact owned by Jews. I share a lot in common with Jewish people. Education level, sympathy for oppressed people, belief in hard work and independence. I have donated a fair amount of money to HIAS for instance because I think they do great work.

That being said I strongly support BDS which is slandered with the "antisemitism" tag because I understand that Jews and the Israeli government are two distinct concepts contrary to what some religious maniacs might want you to believe. It's a shame because Israeli stolen land produces some of the finest winter produce available around here.

I have had lapses of willpower on occasion and bought Israeli goods but I always feel terrible about it.
