It's an old Christmas tradition. You take some snow and grate it into a bowl, then you boil it. My house always smells of boiled water during Christmas. You season it with a lot of salt. The soup is called solnik. It's a very beautiful tradition. Goes well with hotdogs, hamburgers or pizza.

Used to work at a very busy I guess you'd call it a bistro, did pizzas, sandwiches etc.

Was working the pizza oven and helping expo. The oven was a three tiered convection oven always at like 500 degrees, and it was shared with someone else to melt cheese and shit on sandwiches, I opened the door, turned around to grab my pizza, popped it in the back of the oven guy next to me comes over, tosses his sandwich in and closes it on my arm. I, too, was drunk, slipped on a bit of water, falling over, headed straight for the stove, and to avoid my face sliding across the hot plate, I almost broke my neck against the wall below the air vent and my arm grazed over the hot plate. It was just a split second, but my burn was worse than yours OP, but because it’s on the opposite side of wrist I never have to look at the scar ftw!

Most superficial injuries do not really need any bandaging at all. If it keeps bleeding or you're worried about it getting dirty you're a lot better off with some paper towels and a little, A LITTLE, tape to hold it than anything rubber based.

I was drying a coffee mug and the cup part just *popped* off the handle scratching my thumb somehow.
It landed on the floor but didn’t break, just bounced around. After I picked it up I looked at my thumb, and saw the split. Cleanest cut I had ever laid eyes on. Stopped right above the tendon, and didn’t bleed for over a minute.

Not exactly porcelain, but I've played around a bit with knapping flint and glass and those can definitely get sharper than any steel knife I ever worked with.
Obsidian is supposed to be the best for this. To such an extent that they use obsidian scalpels for certain types of surgery because steel just can't do the job.
