After a storm of expletives I decided it would just be better if I left. I asked my younger brother if he wanted to leave with me but he said no and just locked himself in his room. I want to crawl into a hole.

The eggs were with the fish too, actually. After the cold meat was taken care of, we had some pork fillet with home made mustard, apple sauce and carrot, macaroni and potato casseroles. No pic of those, sadly.

Then a little cup of raspberry pannacotta. My mom did well, the vanilla flavour was incredible. As a finishing touch, a shot of whisky.

It was. I'm really stuffed atm.

I don't really have a family anymore, and I don't get a GF because I'm a depressed piece of shit. But the 3 families that I have for neighbors at the start of december offered me being in their christmas dinner, and I obviously accepted, so my Christmas spirit raised from the death, I bought a lot of gifts, a tree and a fuck ton of christmas decoration. I cooked some marinated chicken at the stove, potato salad and rice with chopped pickles and mayo. So far so good. Thank anon, merry christmas to you too. Love you /ck/

Today has been spent watching old Norm Macdonald material and eating from a big cheese board, Ive made candied ginger, rice pudding, and lemon poppy seed muffins. Going to bring some of the muffins over to his sister tomorrow. Been a very comfy holiday season.

I enjoy making big pots of stew and soup and such and sometimes catch myself almost lamenting the fact that or streets are not littered with homeless people like in certain parts of the US. I mean, I don't want them sleeping at my place but I would mind making stew and dinner rolls for a handful of them once in a while.

Weirdest Christmas of my life this year, wife working nights all week, so no family visiting us or us visiting family. Had xmas eve brunch when she woke up, and sent her off to work with some duck and asparagus for dinner, while I just sit at home with the dog drinking Christmas beer. I'll have xmas dinner ready when she wakes up tomorrow afternoon and we'll do gifts, then after she heads out I might hit up a brewery party. Family is all gone, dead, my father was the last, I am an only child as we're both my parents, dad passed away last may, sitting here in my studio apartment heating up a Turkey Pot Pie, no tree, have Christmas music on, sitting on the floor with my dying dog, she has stage 4 lymphatic cancer, nothing can be done, she is still eating a little, I couldn't put her down before Christmas, she is 15 I got her as a put when I was 10, I really don't know what I am going to do without her, she has slept next to me every night since I brought her home, I have been crying so much my face is swollen, but still I am glad that we will have one last Christmas, she is all I have left, by the new year I will be completely alone.
