I always crave them. Though, I like them with onions and mustard, I like chili cheese fries but don't like chili cheese dogs, I find like cheese + hot dogs is just an overload of fatty flavor, I don't like any variety of cheese dog

I get my chili dogs at Sonic usually, if I'm not making them at home with Wolf brand chili. They are junk food but I love to slam about 6 of them while rip roaring drunk. Chili cheese tots are unbelievable after 20 bud lights

what you do is get a package of hot dogs (all beef) and a package of buns, a can of chili and some shredded cheese. put a little chili in all the buns, then put all the dogs into the buns, and put them into a glass casserole dish, and put the rest of the chili evenly into the hot dogs packed into the casserole pan. cover the whole shit of chili dogs in shredded cheese, and bake at like 330 for like a fucking HOUR.

The cool thing about Sonic that I took way too long to learn about is you can order plain hot dogs even though they don't have that on the menu. Those aren't nearly as brutal on the stomach or prone to make you disgusted with the lingering taste hours after you eat it as chili dogs are.

Having a magically invulnerable stomach isn't unfortunate. You have no idea how bad the suffering of gut problems is. I would rather someone shoot me in the kneecap than have to deal with ulcers, intestinal spasms, blockages, hours of nausea at a time with vomiting and diarrhea so you can't even enjoy the simple pleasure of resting in bed, etc.

Dietary habits don't cause most of the more serious intestinal problems, smartass. That's the first thing GI doctors tell you, although laypeople still tend to suspect exactly what they're told by doctors isn't a problem for whatever reason. If your immune system tears apart your intestines then eating any food is going to give you a bad time, chili dogs just happens to be a particularly bad time because of how heavy it sits and the pronounced lingering aftertaste that comes with it (not even close to the worst food you could inflict on yourself either since at least you know a chili dog will pass through you without blocking you up, blockages and rupture are probably the absolute peak of digestive suffering).
You can eat very simple and flavorless foods like plain noodles or slices of turkey meat and have less of a bad time, but the difference is like someone stabbing you in the gut with a rusty screwdriver and salting the wound vs. just someone stabbing you in the gut with a knife, not a difference between having problems and not having problems. Also never said or implied you should pity me, I said you (in the general sense of "you," I know you're probably not that anon) have no idea how lucky you are if you can eat whatever you feel like to the extent even chili dogs don't get to you ever. Don't take it for granted, it's great if you can. If I could eat whatever I felt like there are all sorts of enjoyable foods I remember from decades ago that I'd be eating right now.

when I went to a middle school in 7th grade they had chilidogs that are unlike any I've had before and I keep trying to recreate, but I can't. It makes me sad. some day I'll go in and see if they still have the same coneys.. I think they were coneys but I don't know
