What part of the body? Urine and the stomach should be acidic. Blood can be acid or basic depending on your state of activity, doesn't have much to do with diet. And counterintuitively consuming a lot of citric acid will actually make the blood more alkaline. Our bodies don't have much of a problem regulating pH except when we keep dousing our stomaches with antacids (when we should be consuming more chloride to *increase* stomach acid if you have heartburn). Seriously, if you or someone you know has frequent heartburn, quit the antacids and take some betaine hydrochloride to boost stomach acid and watch the heartburn go away.
