One of the classic Diageo malts I believe (1 of 6 different labels that Diageo considers a representative of the region it's from). It's distilled near the boarder of the Highlands/Speysides so it could potentially be classified as either. I remember it being pretty smooth and fairly tasty/sweet (vanilla/cereal notes on the palate), but not exceptionally complex/complicated. A good beginner's whisky. My memory might be a bit off as it was a while ago that I had it.

Just had one of these for the first time recently. Actually pretty good and very reasonably priced.
As a nice novelty, it actually has a distinct aftertaste like you just got done sucking on a roll of pennies. I assume this is where they got the name from.
While it was a little off-putting at first. I found that the more you drink, the aftertaste actually becomes rather refreshing to the point where I can drink more of it at a time without feeling the need for a chaser.

After a few sips the first skeptical impression fades away after getting used to the taste and since I'm getting more drunk anyway I will drink larger quantities during a single sip and so on.
