What do you do to elevate a frozen pizza?

I do garlic salt before cooking then red pepper and parmesan on the finished product, so bonus points if it’s different from that.

half a bottle of whiskey.

pizza stone and hot sauce before you cook it

>sliced kalamatas
>cream cheese dollops

To finish:
>sweet basil
>oregano
>garlic powder
>black pepper

Fight me.

Hot sauce before the cook? Interesting
>>12055545
Haven’t thought about black pepper. I normally find garlic salt more successful than powder

>> No.12055727

Just tried the black pepper. Works well on its own but clashes hard with the red pepper when I tried both. I hate olives so the kalamatas are a no-go. I only have bars of cream cheese, do you need whipped to do that?

Frozen pizza is usually salty enough for me

Nope just spoon small garlic clove sized chunks onto her.

Usually frozen pizza is salty enough for me hence the powder.

What’s the intention for adding the cream cheese? Moisture?
>>12055730
Would agree about the saltiness but I think the garlic salt baking into the pizza creates a better flavor profile than just raw powder sprinkled on top. Less intense

It's only like $7 to pick up a medium mom and pop pizza. Why even bother with frozen? Although I kind of agree with the photo. Heat it in the oven *then* finish it on a pan to crisp it.

>$7

My pizza in the photo was $3 tax included. Obviously worse but at half the cost it definitely has its purpose.

Also agreed, that’s what I do

Lipstick on a pig, dont bother.

A medium cheese pizza from a local mom and pop place is $12, $2 for each topping, plus tax. And thats for carryout with a 45 minute wait atleast. And its greasy as fuck and sloppily made and they skimp on cheese and toppings, little cearsars is better pizza than the local places here.

What would that do?
>>12056473
Yeah thought about just adding my own toppings, but most toppings would either be a lot of work/expensive which would defeat the point, or not all that much better than just having it on the pizza already ie. Pepperoni

>> No.12056725

Italian blend spices, parmesan, and if there's a prominent enough crust I'll brush it lightly with olive oil and sprinkle it with italian seasoning blend as well.

Put some shredded cheese and maybe some lunch meat on there like some sliced ham. Then bake it up all crispy good.

I like to add quite a bit. So far, my favorite combo is spaghettios, mustard, shrimp and avocado.
