I'm not religious at all, and I'm not american, but I see no problem with saying grace. People are so wasteful these days, they forget to be thankful for food. I don't care what they're thankful to, so long as they remember that it's a good thing to have food and not to waste it. I would hope saying grace instills in people some amount of appreciation for something as basic and important as a meal.
