hi everyone, let's try this cheesecake recipe from nyt cooking together
I can't post it the whole thing right now so I'll do a step by step thing with pictures, and then post the whole recipe in a while

blend everything, put it in a 25*32cm tray or something of roughly the same size, pat it so it's nice and snug, and put it in the oven for around 10min, or until you notice it's color is changing and the smell becomes stronger

set aside in a bowl and let them cool to room temp
I've put the bowl in my sink with cold water to have it cool faster, as the water has a very high thermal conductivity and will absorb the heat coming from the berries and bowl much faster than air would
of course this is evident to anyone with a half decent high school education, but we have some amerifriends here so I'm writing this for their convenience

it tastes good, very fluffy, it doesn't have a cream cheese like consistency, and it's a bit too sweet for my taste
I'd remove aboutb1/5th to 1/4th of the sugar from the middle layer and 1/4th to 1/3rd from the top layer
very very nice if you like strawberries, just nice if you don't like them particularly

Regardless the cake doesn't look that great on an aesthetic level but neither did the first cheesecake I baked and it still tasted wonderful. I hope your's tastes great as well.
