It depends in how busy it is, and how inept the server possible is. Kitchens live and die by ticket numbers and how long things should reasonably take to go out. If a shitty server brings a complicated request back it can throw a wrench in things because there wont be a ticket associated with it. A good server will tell the table it will take a second and make sure they have drink refills etc until the cook has time. A refire wont take priority over whatever is being cooked, and a professional chef never takes that shit personally
