Tbh his whole persona is a fraud, he didnt grown up in the Glasgow, ghetto home of a single mother at all.
His father was an investment banker and his mother a librarian, he grew up in Surrey and attended a posh all boys school in Dulwich....

FACT.

Another lesser known FACT is Ramsay is a mediocre chef.
He can knock up a nice scrambled eggs or a quick steak but his idea are achaic and his skills amateur.
When Ramsay wants new ideas for his top Michelin starred restaurants he has menu advisers.
Interestingly these advisers are not top French, Spanish or even Japanese chefs, they are none other than the 2 Americans in (pic related).

He didn't grow up "posh" nor with any class. His dad had various blue collar jobs, his mom worked in nursing (at what level or education, dunno) but, Dad was likely a drunk, if anyone is to believe he was violent or abusive, there would or should be police records, if it were verifiable which is not. But, with 4 kids, especially one as freaking hyper and annoying as Gordon, and one a heroin addict as a youth, there was likely some mental health torture just being around him or a parent whose genes created him.

There wasn't any great income in a double income family with 4 kids, to be sure, and without an actual royal pedigree or professional education career levels of income, there wasn't anything to give this kid a name, not a fake football career nor a family to be proud of, those things as well as mental health issues creates liars.

Don't forget that Robert Irvine claimed to both Princess Di's chef (as if she even ate anything), as well as "the" White House chef. Those lies were so verifiable as wrong in the days of the internet, and yet, he had this in his resume to get started anyway.
