IN the usa, some years ago, i was travelling up the pacific coast by car in early winter, and witnessed a cheese and ice cream maker on the roadside in oregon. there were rv's parked up and down both sides of the street, and senior citiziens lined up to get ice cream cones. they had made a pilgrimage to this and presumably other stops, for that experience, fuck the weather, fuck diabetes, fuck death. dont get between the greatest generation and their ice cream, bitches.
