Do you like empanadas, and if you do what is your favourite variety? I'm eating these now. They are standard minced meat Buenos Aires variety with meat, onion, paprika, seasonings, olives and eggs. I like to use much cumin, much aji molido and also strong chili, but these are milder. There are of course many more variations in Buenos Aires, Argentina and South America. To cut the meat by hand instead of grinding it is fabolous. Roquerfort and waltnut-filling is another favourite of mine.

I have never put raisins or potatos in empanadas myself, I'm not into that.

Similar dishes from other cultures can also be discussed here.

Probably you know no other languages than english, at least not somewhat fluently. And if you did that doesn't prove you're still not a dumbass. Would someone run something through a translator then go through it and afterwards change certain spellings from american to british english? Would someone needing to use a translator to write english, even be aware of this? Care of this?

There’s literally only one word that’s different from American English in your entire OP. There’s a couple misspellings though.
Protip: when making lists in english within a sentence, you are supposed to use a comma between every separate noun.
Ex: I like apples, oranges, and bananas.
Ex: OP is into traps, cuckolding, and BBC.
The way you did it was missing a comma before the word ‘and’, and if you used a similar sentence structure with the word ‘or’ you would do the same.

It's a good tip to check out the anon's tip above.

For the dough, typical empanada dough is much easier to make than puff pastry, the one I use myself is:

0.5 litre of flours
150 grams butter
About 1 dl of water

Let butter reach room temperature and mix into flour. Then add water until right firmness is reached.

This is enough for filling made of 400 grams of meat.
