Does anybody her bake and/or decorate cakes?
If so I am looking for tips on how to color frosting and actually have it come out the color I want. Specifically red and pink.

Take a measured amount uncolored frosting and add 1 drop of red food coloring to it. Mix it in. Record results until it is pink enough for you. This is now your recipe for pink. Keep adding red food coloring until it is a deep enough hue of red for your purposes. Record results. This is now your red recipe.

You need to buy gel food colors. They have more pigment and won't make your frosting runny. You can buy them online or at craft stores or super walmart.
