The way you are latching onto terms like incubation period shows that you are not well-versed in the subject. Do you know that you would need to eat a fuckton of living bacteria AND be susceptible to colonization (immunocompromised, on strong antibiotics, etc) in order for that to happen? If there were living salmonella on the egg, they would be killed during the cooking process (Salmonella are gram negative rods that do not form spores and are very susceptible to heat). This isn't some obscure theory, it is the kind of shit you learn in intro to microbiology.
