I got charged 900USD for 6 blocks because I got moved from a business to the hospital while unconscious lol. My insurance is full coverage against everything, but ambulances are handled by the fire department, which charge the city, so no insurance company is willing to handle them, not even the unions. I would have been fine if I had collapsed outside city limits.
