Daily reminder that Aguachile(or any raw seafood ) is the best Mexican dish and you should try it.

>> No.13593067

if u like it raw, cooking it would probably blow your mind

thankfully, the salt, the lemon and the peppers kills all bacteria

Oyster is one of the few animal products that tastes better raw than in any cooked form. Fish eggs and milk are pretty much the only other ones.

>> No.13593345

What exactly is that? I could've had it at the beach in Acapulco but I passed because I wanted to swim, and then forgot all about ordering some.

Who eats raw fish eggs? Do you mean caviar? Caviar is cured in salt and not raw

>> No.13593425

>>13593424
Cured doesn't mean cooked, dipshit. Also, caviar is one type of roe, but not the only kind. They're all eaten raw.

>raw Mexican food
No thanks

>> No.13593437

Confirmed for retard...cured is exactly the same as raw? Absolutely no one eats raw roe unless you are some eskimo you fucking child.

>> No.13593506

>>13593437
1. Curing and cooking are separate processes. You can cure something, but until you cook it, it's still raw.
2. Salmon and sea urchin roe are very commonly eaten raw.

>> No.13593516

>>13593506
They're "raw" by your definition, mind you. Caviar is still raw even though it's cured. Raw bacon is cured too, but it's still fucking RAW.

Every time I have aguachile it just tastes like lime juice and cucumber. It's an ok dish, but I would much rather have ceviche if I'm getting raw seafood

>> No.13596890

It's good, but it's not worth going to Mexico for it. I'd rather not be brutally murdered just because I want some seafood. Mexico may have amazing food, but it's not worth the murder.
>inb4 you just need to stay in the nice areas
Whatever, Juan Gonzalez. Drug gangs are literally everywhere in your shithole country. I won't take any chances.

>aguachile

No chili? It's not aguachile without chili peppers.

Just go to Valle de Guadalupe. A good and safe scenic area for tourists in Mexico with actual GOOD food.
