Mostly because it's hard and restrictive, and I don't care that much. Also, I'm genuinely concerned about the health impact. For one, you have to either inject b12 or take pills - and that just shows the diet is nutritionally deficient. And I went vegetarian for a year or two and became so skinny, and cold all the time it was horrible. Couldn't imagine being full vegan, especially where I live (scandi), the fruit and vegetable are low quality, it's cold all the time, I imagine it would be such suffering just eating beans and rice and cold fruit (poverty food) by choice. I avoid eating meat, but feel like my body would just fail without cheese/milk and eggs.

We need to be able to feed ourselves and heal the land at the same time. Animals are incredible land healers.
