I've found more gen x and boomers buy these where I live than millennial's not to say that millennial's don't buy them. I feel it's because they really cant cook and need individual detailed step by step instructions to cook. Also helps that many of them started buying them because one of their children tried it and stopped subscribing but their parents started it and then told all their friends and they all brought it because OMG IT'S SO CONVENIENT I DON'T NEED TO THINK WHEN I'M COOKING NOW AND THEY TAKE IT RIGHT TO MY DOOR. General laziness makes older people get them especially due to many here despite living semi active lives but don't really like to go out for shopping.

Oxalic Acid ftw. It's great stuff, but you may want to wear gloves if you have sensitive skin.
Works well on grout too, but not as good as muriatic acid.

FU I use those. They are the best for washing dishes. Every other kind of sponge sucks. Just don’t use the green side of scotch-brites on teflon I guess. It works well because it scratches surfaces.

I've got a couple of these. One is the Caramel Corn'r which makes regular popcorn and caramel corn. The other, the rocket ship looking one is a Presto iirc. Both make great popcorn. Got both NIB unused from my local thrift for a couple bucks.

It's fun how quickly everyone forgot about those things once microwave popcorn became a (terrible) thing. I agree with you that they made good popcorn. I showed my wife how to just make it on a stove (she only had the machines like yours) and ever since we've never had any microwave shit-corn in the house. Thank God.

Microwave popcorn is an abomination. My Boomer mom showed me how to make popcorn when I was like 5. Place a couple kernels in the oil then wait for them to pop. Then remove from heat and add the rest of the corn and let it set for a minute. Then return to the pot to the burner and agitate until the popping slows to one pop every few seconds. I tend to use a large pot rather than the machines because I can make a double batch and use a full stick of butter. What we don't eat during the movie she takes to work for a snack during the week.

She used to eat microwave swill, but now she rags me all the time to make a batch. You just can't beat real buttered popcorn.

Some patterns are ridicules. I have seen cartain casseroles go for over $1k at auction. But the average set of bowls or fridgies really isn't too bad when you consider how much Chinese garbage will run you at Walmart.

Thrift stores can be good for finding Mid Century Modern stuff, but you have to really stalk them nowadays because there are droves of people who flip them online. I've gotten about half my collection at thrift stores and the rest off the internet. Garage sales are good too, and the flea market. Boomers are dying off so it's a pretty good time to pick this stuff up. What I really want is an old Frigidaire refrigerator and stove.

You're a fucking moron. It is commonly known, as the company even stated you don't use them in a toaster oven. Not any glass bakeware. They are oven and microwave safe, you don't put them in a toaster. You're also the same species of goon that destroys them in the dishwasher.

Also, don't use them on the stovetop. Which is essentially what you did by placing it an inch away from 2 heating elements. Stick to your microwave dinners you fucking buffoon, you'll probably choke to death on your next artichoke.
