Not op but I’ve noticed this is very dependent on the location, the more...colorful and area is the more often they hide the sauces from you. If you go to tbells in say Marin county in California they have the sauces out in giant containers that you can just pull from.

Message to NEETs: never work anywhere that states it has "flexible hours." All that means is that they will move your shifts from day to night and back again every month will cut your hours constantly at random. My new job has me coming in at the same time every day, on the same days, couldn't love it more.

I've worked there twice at different stores, both had a cultish group of soyboys forming the store management crews. The upper management (I talked with a gm about this over a beer once) are told to not do anything about their shift and assistant managers moving their schedules around so that they can work with friends, so if you come in to make cash and not befriend soyboys and basic bitch white girls, you'll be stuck doing bitch tasks like dishes, mopping, trash handling etc for a hour or two, and if you dont purposefully work slowly to hit the end of your shift, they will immediately send you home when your done. Also in winter they cut all the fat and its essentially just "we are going to have everyone who doesn't suck up to us work 2 hours a week.", Ive seen really hard working highschoolers get in, bust their asses and then get their hours cut to ribbons by GMs cutting hours and lower management sending them home after a hours work. Dont work at fast food places, get a real job, even if that means working with convicts and felons at a box factory or some shit.

Pic related. I found this on google and this is exactly what the meat looked like before it's heated up. I worked there in the mid 00s but I really doubt much has changed. It doesn't get any more mindless than reheating cheap, precooked meat. The steak and chicken also come precooked in bags, too.

That's pretty close to what it looks like, but they had to change the beef up after the "40% beef" scandal in like 2010. It still has finely-ground oats in it, I think. After that they got rid of artificial flavors, colors and preservatives in 2015-16. I remember the beans used to smell like froot loops when you prepped them and the nacho cheese used to be like radioactive yellow, it got a bit paler afterwards.

Did you or someone you know ever fuck with people's food? If so, why? I never worked food service but seeing some of the people you all deal with I could see myself shitting in the beans or something.

I've been a taco cuck for 4 yrs. There's cameras everywhere in the restaurant. The worst I've seen people do is serve under-temp food. Nothing super egregious, Taco Bell standard is 165F but I've seen people serve food at 140F and things like that just to get the order out. Otherwise, I've never seen someone put boogers or spit in food, or serve food that fell on the floor. It's all on camera and the district managers can remotely access them any time. Not worth losing your job over for momentary satisfaction.

This one jock prick started insulting the crew, calling us worthless for working in fast food, etc. Everyone was already busting their ass and that was the straw that broke the camel's back for me.
