Every time I see an American “cooking” show or channel I cringe because the base recipe could be good but they add 500 useless ingredients and destroy everything every single time.

It’s incredible how much they hate eating plain and simple food focused on quality rather than billion flavours from whatever artificial they can throw in the bowl.

I can't eat sweet potatoes. The taste is so cloyingly earthy-sweet to me it makes me gag. I hate it, because my whole family likes sweet potatoes and I want to like them; I even like the smell of them roasting. I try them at least once a year, in all different forms, and yet I get filtered by them every time. It sucks.
