After a while the wait for chicken sammies really got to me so i would cut the line. Anyone with a problem would talk some shit but it didnt matter cause i was ready to fight for my chicken sammies. After my first fight i relized i could just fight people who already had that delicious sammy. Id go to my local popeyes every day and before too long people started calling me sammy wammy which was cool. They even started handing over thier chicken sammies when they saw me comming. Really the best part was when popeyes hired me on for security. That popeyes was pretty crazy. They offered me regular pay but i insisted on free sammies instead. They agreed and i would go in for an hour or 2 during peak hours. They would tell me things like sammy wammy go take care of those 2 and get em off the property or its a little slow today sammy wammy just take a few sammies and go home. I was happy to do so because any time i took care of business they would let me take a break in the back with those fucking delicious sammies.

If it's well made, it's actually fantastic (in the context of fast food), the first few times I got one I was astounded, I ate it every day for four days straight.

But the one near me is mainly staffed with black people now, and not to sound racist, but that usually lowers the expectations, and the last few times I got one it was obviously a little burned, or the chicken had this weird extra durable texture to it, etc. But if you have a decent and consistent popeyes near you, give it a shot. Just don't try anything else on their menu.

It's incredible for fast food. It's basically chain restaurant tier. If there is a Popeye's in a white part of town near you it's worth it to stop by, but not to make a special trip for.

I've had 'em a few times, they're tasty but I wouldn't eat them every day, cost aside. I never ate at Popeye's before and was surprised at how good their pickles were. Thick cut, crunchy and nicely spiced, really paired well with the chicken.

I had Popeyes for the first time a few days ago. The chicken was really crisp and nice on the outside. The onion rings were pretty sad though. 1 biscuit is good, but they get cakey if you do more

The one I had was shit. It was the least “urban” Popeyes in the area, so I thought it was worth a shot, hopes plummeted as soon as I heard the employee over the drive through speaker. Guess they bussed in workers.
The sandwich itself was crap. It was like a twice fried chicken strip on a bun way to big for it, pickles bigger than the chicken, and too much mayo or sauce or what ever that was they drowned the mess in.
