Honestly, lasagna is a pretty easy and effortless meal for me.
I make bolognese pretty often, and when I do I just make a large pot and freeze what I don't eat immediately.
So when I want to eat a lasagna, I just need to whip up some bechamel, layer it, and I actually have a pretty quick meal. I like to do it the evening before, so on the day of eating all I have to do is put it in the oven.

Just made one today, in fact, and it was fucking fantastic.

In that case it's a bit more work, sure. Bolognese is pretty much one of my staples tho, I make that at least once a month, and get 3-4 meals out of it.
I make the lasagna fairly traditional, so just the bolognese, bechamel, parmesan and pasta.
