That's a Google problem not a woman problem.

more text = longer page = more ad space, almost every recipe site looks like this now to generate ad revenue.

>> No.14954649

Just scroll or buy cookbooks, who cares?

It's so fucking irritating. There are no good free resources online anymore, they all at the least want to sell your data or use your time to show you ads.
>cornbread recipe
>entire first page of google results
>click on one that says something like, "Cornbread recipe YUMMY tastes great!!!"
>get to page, it's an article, my adblocker reports the page is plastered with ads and "this page wants to show you notifications" and "please register now!" popups
>find article beginning next to a huge unnecessary picture of cornbread
>"So you want to make cornbread....Okay, but first, let's take a step back."
>"what is cornbread"
>10 paragraphs later
>followed by
>"the history of cornbread"
>20 paragraphs later
>followed by "The health risks and benefits of cornbread"
>scroll all the way to the fucking bottom (Assuming the article is not in pages, worse if you can't skip to the end and have to just hit "next page")
>see the ingredient list, finally, but it's full of a bunch of unnecessary niche foreign ingredients that you won't be able to find in the store
>cook it and it tastes like shit
Honestly I prefer YouTube or cookbooks. At least with YouTube you can skip past all the crap or just look at the video description for the recipe.

Don't hold the down cursor to scroll website pages. If you click on the cursor bar to the right you can drag the page down until you spot the section formatted like a recipe in less than a second. You can also press the end key to jump directly to the bottom.

This is only a real problem if you're not using an actually reputable source for your recipes.

Bon Appetit
King Arthur Flour

My sister is a food journalist and used to write recipe articles like this, so I used compressed air to abort her 8 month old half black pregnancy. She screamed uncontrollably and passed out in my bean bag chair after giving birth to the remains.
