I bought one simply because I had fond memories as a kid just piling blankets on top and feeling cozy. Never had any issues falling asleep with lighter blankets, but just wanted to recreate that feeling. They are, indeed, pretty cozy. I can see how an autismo would benefit the most from them, though.
