Yes, you should. Alas, if you're posting here... it may already be too late...

if you eat a lot of bread and you're lazy then breadmakers are a good investment.

it's really nice for making bulk, kneaded doughs without much complexity

if you only ever do a sinlge loaf here-and-there, or even only a single loaf daily, i wouldn't bother and just get/use a kitchenaid. only time i ever bothered with a breadmaker was for making pizza dough since i'd have to make huge batches for parties

>>15190671
Buy one if you don't have an oven. If you're lazy you won't use it because you still need to prepare the ingredients and read directions.

>> No.15190995

depends how much bread you're eating and how much you enjoy baking

I usually bake one big loaf and that has me sorted for the week but i live alone.

Plus, they always seem a bit mechanical to me, i prefer the hands on method.

If you eat a lot of bread and want an easy way to bake multiple times a week, go for it

If you eat enough bread in say, one year that the cost of the bread maker is less than what you spend in bread, that's how I would justify it. I was the same with a rice cooker, the idea of spending $120 on a Zoji was ridiculous, but I've had the same one for over 10 years, so I can't complain about $12/year.

That would only make it worse. Dumbfuck normalshits love bragging about how much better they feel now they are in "ketosis" with 500% more brain activity and unlimited energy for muh activities and anyone that still eats carbs is literally retarded and can barely function to the point of basically being comatose invalids.

>> No.15191139

jim lahey no nead bread
or kenjis no nead foccacia are only marginally more effort than using a bread maker

you literally just stir all the ingredients together, leave it, and then cook it in cast iron.
you don't have to nead it or like do fucking anything really. And you can make larger batches of dough and just keep em in the fridge cold fermenting and bam just pop one in the oven when you want fresh bread.

and they're MUCH better than bread maker bread which honestly fucking sucks aside from being fresh.

Bread maker brainlet here. Was looking to get this bread maker, and had some dumb questions if anyone wanted to share their knowledge.

>I have all the base ingredients for bread making. Water, Salt, Oil, Flour, and the Yeast. Can I just mix these right into a bread maker then boom bread?

>Do I need to buy special pre-packaged bread mix like this anon mentioned?
>>15196452

>When it comes to making bread in a bread maker, or from scratch, and tips on making the bread taste better? Like adding Honey, maybe a small amount of vanilla? I know you can add some fruits, or nuts to the mix at certain points in the bread maker process, but wasn't entirely sure.

>Should I spray the inside of my bread maker with cooking oil where the bread/dough sits for easier removal of the loaf from the inner piece that holds/bakes the mix/dough? Or is non-stick pretty much a given?

>What ingredient makes the difference between white, wheat, sourdough, and rye when it comes to bread making?

Thanks, just trying to get into this a bit more.

I didn't say you have to, but every supermarket where I am sells boxes of package breadflour mix with yeast sachets, easy as fk and makes fine bread

of course you can make from scratch if you like but since you're lazy to use machine packet one is probably best

From the experience when eating at my mother's, they make pretty poor breads. They're convenient for sure, but making your own bread proper will be much better.
Depends on how much you value your time, and it's not much of a time investment
