Can't even feel it until I've had at least 12 shots. How long till this fucking kills me? I can function at work all day just fine and never get a hangover because I chug water before I go to sleep. The only directly negative health effects I've seen are the "pissing through my asshole" shit I take when I wake up. Realistically how long can I continue before my liver is kill? It's been about six years like this without a day off.

The 375 is minimum. I have lots of 500 days and even some 750s. I simply can't even attempt sleep without the 375 though. Could you recommend kombucha for someone that hates kombucha? Do you know of any easy to find brands that taste radically different than standard kombucha? Because I can't drink the shit as is, taste awful to my palette.

If you've actually been doing that 6 years without a day off, you legitimately can't stop without putting yourself at risk of life threatening seizures. Consult a doctor to safely detox. You've damaged your body for sure. You should definitely stop, but it's up to you. Good luck.

Lmao this is untrue. Just taper off over 2 days and use benadryl to sleep. You realize 375ml is a very small amount right? I worked at a rehab for 3 years and real full blown alcoholics stay drunk all the time and can do a handle a day, over 2x the amount. Op is drinking half a fifth and is a problem binge drinker more than an alcoholic that needs to be drunk constantly.

Chug water before bed. I know it's mentioned all the time but it legitimately is the cure for hangovers. The majority of the effects of a hangover are from dehydration, yes, some compounds also cause them but it's 90% dehydration. It might be unpleasant to sit and chug a 2 liter of water when you're drunk and want to sleep but it's a small price to pay to wake up feeling fine.

a) Take a supplement or two to protect your liver
>NAC
>Milk thistle
>Liv 52
b) You need to go through withdrawal or this is going to end badly. If not for your liver, then for your job, relationships, self-respect and the respect of others. Plan this around work, like take a vacation and plan to spend the entire vacation at home and not drinking. You could switch to pot instead if that is easier than complete sobeiety. If you find it impossible to withstand the withdrawal and end up drinking again then you need more serious help, like supervised rehab.
c) If you do successfully quit and decide to start again, give yourself firm rules. No day drinking, no drinking before work. Consider switching to something softer like beer. And most importantly you must regularly take long breaks. Like, do sober October every year, or do a New Year's resolution to quit for the first month of every year.

You do realize that hallucinations are due to lack of sleep right? Because passing out isn't good rem sleep? All you have to do is take a benzo or a barb or even an ambien since sedatives are related to benzos and sleep on and off for a few days. If you can't get those use zzzquil because it has a tad of alcohol in it.

The tricky thing about alcohol is everyone is different. Some people will already have alcoholic hepatitis at the rate you described. Unless you seriously cut back or quit entirely, you are on borrowed time my friend. I would guess 4 years max till you have serious illness like pancreatitis or hepatitis.

Get medical help if you need to with detox. Seek out support where you can. Good luck friend.

Livers are remarkably resilient. You usually don't see cirrhosis until alcoholics hit their mid 50s. I only saw a couple guys with fucked livers in their 30s and they were going hard or mixing percosets that had tylenol with their drinking. Tylenol is far worse for the liver than alcohol. Jaundice is also commonly reversable. But there is a tipping point that you can't come back from. Puritanical americans overblow liver damage by a LOT. In the UK or Australia where they weren't founded by Calvinists they go fucking hard but their health isn't any worse than Amerilards who pound vegetable oil and sugar instead.

I can't speak for anybody else, but I just slipped into a rut after my dad died. It was a couple of cocktails nearly every day after work, plus at the time I usually drank on the weekends with my girl. Then the cocktails didn't numb me enough, so I'd add a beer or two. Then a sister died, then my mom, and it escalated further. And so on until I was at a fifth a day plus chasing with beer.

I'd wager for nearly every person that slips into the lifestyle, there was some catalyzing event or deep insecurity that led to them masking it with alcohol. When you use it as a fix and not as fun, there's not really any such thing as "don't drink as often."

What's worse, I don't think I can reduce, I'll just have to stop. Maybe after a long time of being away from it or if I only limit myself to drinking when I'm out in a group? But at home? I doubt it. There's that saying, one is too many and 10 isn't enough. It would be difficult to trust myself with a bottle in the house and not drink it all.
