I first learned of rathergood when they posted a link to viking kittens in the EGM editor's section. So I was familiar with the Spongemonkeys and thought it was weird for them to show up in a Quiznos ad. But I never had a local Quiznos anyway, so it's not like it enticed me to eat there.

I used to go to the one in my town several times a week when they offered these coupons, could get two large roast beef subs and a drink for under 10 bucks, have one sub for lunch and the other for dinner. eventually the franchise owner cussed me out for using them and gave some sob story about how they were costing him money, said it was the last time he'd take a coupon from me. I told him then it would be the last time I ever went to his store. never went back and he shut the place down a month or two later anyhow. now there isn't a single quiznos left in my state.

I have ate at Quiznos maybe 10 times in my life. The only reason was because a toasted sub sounded good. I realized at some point that they put a really nasty sauce on the sub before they toast it that makes it taste like actual vomit. I have asked them not to put that sauce on there, they tell me they don’t put a sauce on there, then I watch them lather something on the sandwich before it goes in the toaster.
